RC Helicopter Parts Compatibility Guide

Match RC helicopter parts using the exact model code, variant name, original component, dimensions, connector and manufacturer documentation.

RC Helicopter Parts Compatibility Guide - Rc Aircraft Base

RC helicopter parts are compatible only when the exact model, version and component specification agree. A part that looks similar can still differ in its blade root, shaft diameter, gear geometry, mounting points, voltage, connector polarity or control protocol. This guide gives you a repeatable way to check compatibility before ordering.

Start with the evidence on your aircraft

  1. Record the brand and complete model code from the aircraft, manual or original packaging.
  2. Photograph the original component, connector, mounting points and orientation before removal.
  3. Record any code printed on the part or its packaging.
  4. Compare the product variant name and photographs with the original component.
  5. Use the current model manual as the controlling source when marketplace labels conflict.

Mechanical compatibility checklist

Component Checks required Do not rely on
Main or tail rotor blades Model code, position, length, root thickness, mounting hole, mass class and matched-set requirements Color or overall shape alone
Gears Tooth count, pitch/module, bore, width, material and mating gear Outside diameter alone
Shafts and rotor heads Diameter, length, holes, shoulders, bearings and fastener locations A similar model-family name
Landing gear and fuselage parts Mounting points, left/right orientation, color/version and included hardware Scale appearance

Electrical compatibility checklist

For a battery, motor, ESC, flight controller, receiver or servo, verify voltage, chemistry or cell count where applicable, connector type, connector polarity, dimensions, current requirements, mounting pattern and protocol. A matching connector shell does not prove safe voltage or polarity.

Verified store model references

K170 Black Hawk parts

The current K170 parts listing contains many K170-coded variants, including K170-0002 through K170-0024, and also contains several variants carrying K123, K124, K160 or K110S codes. Those other codes should not be assumed compatible with K170 merely because they appear on the same product page. Select only the exact code supported by your original part or documentation.

RC ERA C032 Huey parts

The current C032 Huey parts listing uses SC400-series variant codes. The code identifies the selectable listing variant, but the storefront data does not independently prove the function of every code. Match the code and photographs to the original component before ordering.

C170 AH-64D Apache parts

The C170 Apache parts listing identifies selectable categories such as rotor head, horizontal axis, rotor clamp, main gear, flight control, optical-flow unit, ESC, motors, landing gear, fuselage sections, propeller and tail rotor. Confirm color and left/right orientation where applicable. The current listing does not show a clearly named battery variant, so do not infer battery compatibility from the product title.

What to do after installation

Remove the flight battery before service, inspect adjacent components after any impact, check free movement with power disconnected, and follow the model manual for fasteners and calibration. Perform only the manufacturer-approved low-power test in a clear area. Stop for abnormal vibration, sound, heat, binding or control response.
